The St. Peter's Staff Team Welcomes You

Pastoral Staff

Rev. Mark Ehlebracht, Lead Pastor Contact

Mark became Lead Pastor in 2009 and the dress code at church has never been the same. Mark is a creative catalyst at St. Peter’s, which can be fun at times. He has a BHAG (Big Harry Audacious Goal) of connecting with people from our community who need to meet the loving God they never knew or the God that they need to know. Every week, he passionately leads the church to discover more about God and in doing so we always discover more about ourselves (funny how it never works the other way around). When Mark isn't thinking “church,” he’s enjoying time with his family; his beautiful wife Karen, his sons Joshua and Caleb and his daughter Rachel. Their favourite getaways involve water, snow and the local coffee shop. An Eiffel Tower would be a major bonus.

Rev. Wendell Grahlman, Pastor Contact

Pastor Wendell was born in Hanover, Ontario and grew up in a big church in a small town. It was during his high school years that he began to think about ordained ministry as a job to pursue after education. So off he headed to Wilfrid Laurier University and then Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, and along the way, the 'job' became a calling and a passion. Since 1986 he has served congregations in Magnetawan, Cambridge, Elmira, Midland and now in Kitchener (all in Ontario). Beyond those congregational contexts, he has been active in serving the larger church, and in local community organizations. Pastor Wendell has two children, both of whom are grown young adults and off to pursue their own learning and passions. Pastor Wendell's toys and joys have included philately (stamp collecting), reading, music, computers, Star Trek, and dabbling in many sports as participant and observer. He also likes making lists, driving, and pushing the boundaries on things (within reason and with good reason). He's also known to have a quiet disposition and a humourous ability to be good natured about being follically challenged.
